Court Dry was founded in October 2023 by brothers Parsa and Nima Nasri from Portland, OR. Both brothers have played tennis since they had their first steps as a toddler, which inspired them to blend their deep passion for tennis with their dream of running their own business together. 

 

Parsa was a varsity tennis star at Sunset High School from 2019 - 2023. During his last two years at Sunset, he won two consecutive doubles State Championships and led the team to historic second place finishes in the state of Oregon. 

 

Nima was a varsity tennis player for Sunset High School from 2015 - 2019, captaining the team in his senior year. He also coached youth tennis through USTA for two summers after graduating high school. Nowadays, Nima enjoys playing pickleball casually with his friends.

"We always wanted to work together on a business since we know each other so well and trust each other so much. Starting a company within the tennis space was a no-brainer, especially given the lack of creativity in products from the industry giants in recent years."                                                                                                                                  

 

“Tennis related products are simply just getting more and more boring, not to mention companies don’t seem to care if their products actually cater to tennis players. We’re on a mission to directly cater to the specific needs of tennis players while still delivering aesthetically pleasing products. We’re starting with towels, but who knows where we’ll end up.”
